Summary:

Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Services, Natalie Gioco, will share an overview of the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). The IIPP includes; Workplace Violence In California; Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan; Ergonomics Injury and Illness Prevention Plan; Heat Illness Prevention; and is a basic written workplace safety program to provide a safer and healthier environment for all individuals.
Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations (T8CCR) section 3203, requires every employer to develop and implement an effective IIPP. An effective IIPP improves the safety and health in your workplace and reduces costs by good management and employee involvement.
This plan requires to be reviewed and approved annually by the Board. |
