As part of Measure R - Phase 2, the District will be replacing HVAC equipment in common areas (e.g., offices, libraries, multi-use buildings, etc.) at five (5) of our school sites: Bagby, Fammatre, Farnham, Price, and Sartorette.
RGMK obtained bids from various vendors and the results of the public bid opening held on February 1, 2024, for two (2) sites: Fammatre and Price. A total of 12 contractor bids were received covering the three (3) different construction trade bid packages. The bid results are attached.
• Bid Package A, General Trades
• Bid Package B, Electrical & LV Trades
• Bid Package D, HVAC Trades
Bids from the apparent low bidders in each trade package have completed evaluation. The contractors found to have submitted the responsive low bids for each of the three (3) trade packages are as follows:
• Bid Package A: Beals Martin & Associates
• Bid Package B: Best Electric Co.
• Bid Package D: Foothill Air Conditioning & Heating |

The performance of these contracts will be paid from the Measure R bond account. |

Recommendation
|
|
Staff recommends that the Governing Board award the three (3) different construction trades packages with lowest bid amount for Fammatre and Price. |
