On April 20, 2021, the Board of Trustees and Dr. Andrews reviewed and discussed the matters that pertain to their roles and responsibilities in the District. The Governing Board and Superintendent also had an opportunity to discuss current Board Protocols and future Board Protocols. The Governance team had an opportunity to review the Professional Governance Standards for Cambrian Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees will continue to follow the California School Board Association's Professional Governance Standards which contain three vital components for effective school governance:
1) the attributes of an effective individual trustee;
2) the attributes of an effective governing board; and
3) the specific jobs the board performs in its governance role |

As a commitment to the strategic work in Cambrian School District, the Governing Board members shall adopt the California School Board Association's Professional Governance Standards for Cambrian School District Board of Trustees. |
