|
Ms. Maggie Spehar, Director of Student Services, will share an overview of the Comprehensive Safety Plan for each school site. The comprehensive school safety plans are a collection of procedures for schools to utilize in the event of an emergency, and provides guidelines which promotes a safe learning space for all.
California Education Code sections 32280-32289, requires all California public schools serving Transitional kindergarten through eighth grade with over 2,500 students develop a comprehensive school safety plan. |

Staff recommends that the Governing Board approve the Site Comprehensive Safety Plans for each school site and allow them to be available to the public. |
