On August 5, 2021, the Board authorized to move forward with Measure R Tier I projects which includes replacement of the oldest portables located at Fammatre, Farnham, Sartorette, and Price.
The District intends to issue a Request for Qualifications to prequalify Modular contractors and begin the Request for Proposals process. The request for proposals will include the design and construction for the new modular classrooms via Design Build pursuant to Education Code 17250 et. seq. which requires school districts to adopt procedures and criteria for selecting Design Build contractors via a Best Value selection process.
The attached resolution includes the Best Value procedures and guidelines, as well as, the prequalification questionnaire. The target date for issuing the Request for Qualifications is June 20, 2022. |
