Summary:
|
If members of the public wish to speak about an item on the agenda, a Speaker Sheet should be completed giving the number of the agenda item, or if wishing to speak to an item not on the agenda, stating the topic on which they wish to speak. The sheet should be presented to the Secretary to the Superintendent prior to the start of the meeting or prior to the start of the Public Comments section of the agenda. Items may be addressed at the time the Board considers the agenda item OR during Public Comments; NON AGENDA ITEMS may be addressed during Public Comments; PUBLIC HEARINGS may be addressed at the time of the Public Hearing. In accordance with Education Code 35145.5, the Board cannot enter into a formal discussion or make a decision on any matter not on this agenda during this meeting. The Board may take action to refer any subject discussed in a presentation at this Board meeting to a later meeting. Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes per speaker.
