Summary:
|
The Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and Coordinator of the Cambrian Extended Care Program will provide an update on The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P), which provides additional funding for and summer enrichment programs for transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program was authorized by Item 6100-110-0001 of the 2021–22 Budget Act (Senate Bill 129, Chapter 69, Statutes of 2021), and Assembly Bill (AB) 130, Chapter 44, Statutes of 2021, as amended by AB 167, Chapter 252, Statutes of 2021.
Statutes require that the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program Plan be presented to and approved by the Board at a public meeting before June 30, 2022.
