Summary: Cambrian School District partners with a contracted company to support our students with nutritious meals to be ready to learn and to reach their highest academic potential.

Cambrian published the Request for Proposal for the Food Service Consulting and Purchasing RFP# 23-24-52424 on May 24, 2024. Chief Financial Officer, Dr. John Pappalardo, will summarize the bid process held on Monday, June 17, 2024. The District received one bid from Sodexo. The whole Bid is attached and the Schedule of Fees & Costs for the estimated 405,000 meals is located in Attachment B; Section 06-Certifications 27 (page 97). A representative from Sodexo will be in attendance to answer any questions there may be on this contract.

Contract Term: Maximum of five years with approved annual renewals

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Governing Board award the Contract for Food Service Consulting and Purchasing to Sodexo for the 2024-25 school year with an option to renew the contract annually for the next 4 years.
